Beta terms
These public terms govern evaluation of the beta site. A signed design-partner agreement and statement of work control paid work. Counsel review remains required before broad release.
Beta service and eligibility
Access is limited, revocable, and intended for authorized evaluation. You must provide accurate account information, protect credentials, use only data and land records you are authorized to evaluate, and promptly report suspected misuse.
No issued credit, accreditation, or guaranteed result
Estimates, scores, bundles, certificates, and sample reports are evaluation artifacts. Viridis is not a registry, verifier, accreditation body, land trust, broker, or government authority. No output guarantees conservation impact, legal enforceability, registry acceptance, issuance, sale, income, tax treatment, or value.
Professional and field decisions
The software does not replace a survey, appraisal, field inspection, legal opinion, tax advice, investment advice, forestry or grazing plan, permitting, emergency judgment, or a qualified registry professional. Partners remain responsible for reviewing inputs and deciding whether an output is suitable for their purpose.
Data and acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful material, credentials, malware, data about another person without authority, or sensitive documents through a public form. Do not probe another account, bypass access controls, disrupt service, scrape protected data, or present beta artifacts as issued environmental units.
Intellectual property and feedback
Viridis and its licensors retain the beta software, methods, branding, and documentation. You retain rights in data you are authorized to provide. A signed engagement defines deliverable rights. You may provide feedback, which Viridis may use without identifying your confidential information.
Changes, suspension, and termination
Beta features, methods, and availability may change. Viridis may suspend access for security, legal, operational, or misuse concerns. On termination, project data is handled under the applicable data schedule and retention obligations.
Warranty and liability boundary
The beta is provided for evaluation on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Any warranties, service commitments, liability allocation, indemnity, governing law, and dispute terms for a paid engagement must be stated in a signed agreement reviewed for the parties’ jurisdictions.
